Typist: Keyboarding (90 Hours)
Brief Course Description: This competency-based course is an introduction to proper keyboarding techniques, mastery of alphabetic, numeric and symbol keys, and fundamental skill development of speed and accuracy. The course includes an introduction, safety and ergonomics, computer hardware, software/app, and operating system, alphabetic keys, number and symbol keys, timed writings, formatting, employability skills and résumé preparation, and a final evaluation.
