Program Overview
The Real Estate program consists of three competency-based courses that are designed to meet the statutory requirements for the broker’s and salesperson’s license.
The competencies in all of the following courses are aligned with the California High School Academic Content Standards and the California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standard.Real Estate: Finance (60 Hours)
Brief Course Description: This competency-based course is the first in a sequence of three designed for real estate. It satisfies the statutory requirements for the broker’s and salesperson’s license. It includes instruction in real estate agency laws, California Association of Realtors’ listing form, advertising, real estate disclosure statements, employment contracts, competitive market analysis, purchase agreement, finance, finance programs, qualifying standards, finance documents, deposit receipt, overview, standard provisions, third-party financing, seller financing, escrow, tax aspects of real estate practice, investing in other broker-related fields, property management, real estate ethics, Fair Housing Act, implicit/explicit bias, entrepreneurial skills, and evaluation.- Cost of Tuition: $0

Once a Certificate of Completion is earned in a course, that course cannot be repeated.
