You are welcome to join us today, February 4th, for Lunch with LARAEC! By request, we are bringing back a popular session from our LARAEC ROCS conference, A Picture (or Video)'s Worth a Thousand Words. Two veteran ESL teachers will share videos and images that have been tested in the classroom and on Schoology to illustrate specific grammar points and generate interesting discussions. These media provide meaningful practice for students to construct their own understanding of new grammatical concepts and current issues. They say an image is worth a thousand words, but only if the image is rich enough in meaning. They’ve curated the web to give you those thousand words and resources will be shared via google drive during the presentation.
